The planet originally was able to comfortably support human populations of no more than 20%-25% of the current numbers.  However, with the addition of each new human occupying a finite space, healthy life supports continue to be depleted; lands, water, and air become polluted; chemicals are used to replace the natural elements that have now become scarce; wild forests, fish and animal species are extinguished; and these obvious and frightening events continue to be ignored by you and your leaders.
