ZEUS says: "If you are ever asked to indicate your approval by signing a document which you find ambiguous because it is poorly written, refuse to do so, and request a document that is prepared in correct language, has a clear message, and contains no ambiguities."

Recently, I experienced a situation such as you describe in your January 23 blog. It is unfortunate that today, many of the people in what once was considered a "high-level" position would be hard-pressed to prepare a grammatically correct document. As for ambiguities, that seems to be the norm since many of these so called professionals themselves do not understand their jobs and use ambiguities to confuse the issue at hand and try to make you feel inadequate.

Sorry for my cynicism.
